OVERVIEW
At Solas, we want you to love your sunglasses. This policy explains your rights and options if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, if your product arrives damaged or defective, or if you need to make a warranty claim. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
This policy applies to all purchases made through our online store at www.solaswear.co.za. Solaswear (Pty) Ltd operates exclusively online and does not have any physical retail locations.
RETURNS
General Returns
We offer a 30-day return window for all products purchased through our online store, subject to the conditions set out below.
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following requirements:
• The return is lodged within 30 days of the date of purchase.
• The product is unused and undamaged.
• The product is in its original packaging with all seals, tags and accessories intact.
• Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided.
All returned goods are inspected upon receipt. Solaswear (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to refuse a return if the product shows signs of use, has been damaged, or is not returned in its original packaging.
Refunds
Refunds are available within 14 days of the date of purchase. After 14 days and up to 30 days, we will offer an exchange or store credit, but not a cash refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
How to Lodge a Return

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to send your item back to us. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item received.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
• Sale items — no returns or refunds will be accepted on items purchased during a sale or promotional event. An exchange for a different style of equal value may be requested within 30 days of purchase.
• Items that show signs of use, wear, or damage caused after delivery.
• Items not in their original condition or packaging.
Please note: No returns will be processed during large sale events (e.g. Black Friday). Returns received during such periods will be processed once the sale event has ended.
EXCHANGES
We offer free exchanges within 30 days of purchase, provided the item meets the return eligibility conditions above.
If you would like to exchange your sunglasses for a different style, colour, or size, please contact us at support@solaswear.co.za. Exchanges are subject to stock availability at the time of the request. If the desired item is unavailable, we will offer a store credit or refund in accordance with this policy.
Solaswear (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to refuse an exchange if the product does not meet the conditions set out in the General Returns section above.
ORDERS, PAYMENTS & STOCK AVAILABILITY
Order Acceptance
Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. Solaswear (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject any order. Acceptance of your order is confirmed only upon dispatch of the goods. Prior confirmation of payment does not constitute acceptance of an order.
If your order is rejected for any reason (including stock unavailability or pricing errors), we will notify you and process a full refund of any amount paid as soon as reasonably possible.
Stock Availability
All products are sold subject to availability. While we make every reasonable effort to keep our website stock levels accurate, we cannot guarantee availability at the time of purchase. If an item becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will contact you and offer a full refund.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Items may be removed from your cart if stock becomes unavailable before you complete your purchase.
Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled after payment has been received. Once your order has been dispatched, cancellations are subject to the Returns Policy above.
WARRANTY
Lifetime Frame Warranty
Solas stands behind the quality of our sunglasses. We offer a Lifetime Warranty on all sunglass frames, covering defects in materials or workmanship, as well as frame breaks that occur during normal, everyday use.
Under this warranty, if your sunglass frames break due to a covered defect or break during normal use, Solaswear (Pty) Ltd will replace your sunglasses at no charge, excluding the cost of shipping.
What Is Covered
• Defects in materials or workmanship.
• Frame breaks occurring during normal, everyday use of the sunglasses.
What Is Not Covered
Our Lifetime Warranty does not cover the following:
• Damage caused by outrageous, reckless or negligent events (for example, being run over by a vehicle).
• Intentional abuse or deliberate damage to the frames.
• Normal wear and tear (including scratches to lenses).
• Damage caused by alterations or modifications to the product.
• Lost or stolen sunglasses.

Warranty Limitation
Our Lifetime Warranty covers ONE replacement per pair of sunglasses purchased. Each warranty claim is linked to the original purchase and is non-transferable.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, please contact us at support@solaswear.co.za with the following information:
• Your original order number or proof of purchase.
• A description of the defect or damage.
• Clear photographs of the affected product.
Our team will assess your claim and respond within 5 business days. If your claim is approved, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. Shipping costs for the replacement are at the customer's expense.
Solaswear (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to make the final determination as to whether a warranty claim qualifies under this policy.
