Solas was born under open skies in Stellenbosch, founded by Xander and PF with a simple idea: life is better outside.

We create sunglasses for those who chase adventure - early mornings on the trail, long afternoons by the ocean, and every untamed moment in between. Our frames are built to last, backed by a lifetime warranty, because the best gear shouldn’t hold you back or wear out before your stories do.

The name Solas is inspired by Sola Deo Gloria - “all glory to God.” It’s a reminder that the world around us, from mountains to coastlines, is something to be explored, appreciated, and respected. Every pair we make is a quiet nod to that belief: that creation is worth seeing clearly, and worth protecting.
